The preparation and planning of the series took six months. During one day, four so-called one-shot stagings were created. ‘Rococo’ is a mixture of modern photography, live performance in front of an audience and digital painting. ECHOES of the THIRTIES
A stylish & gripping journey through time
The ‘Echoes of the Thirties’ project was realised by a dedicated team of 6 creative minds and 8 enthusiastic amateur models in the heart of Vienna. Inspired by the striking atmosphere of the 1930s, an atmospheric outdoor production and three authentically designed indoor scenes were created. In an intensive four-month preparation phase, customised costumes and detailed accessories from different countries were brought together to bring the aesthetics and atmosphere of the 1930s to life. The production took place over two days, followed by an elaborate one-month post-production phase to give the scenes an unmistakable depth and quality. ‘Echoes of the Thirties’ stylishly combines historical flair and creative storytelling. The focus is on sending the audience on a fascinating journey back in time, while at the same time drawing timeless parallels to our modern present.
